Dillon Powell is a filmmaker and photographer based in Dallas, Texas. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s film program, He began his career by Executive Producing the feature film Sew Torn, which premiered at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival before screening at major international film festivals, including SITGES and the Locarno Film Festival. Following a worldwide theatrical run, Sew Torn is now available on Apple TV+.

You can always find him with a camera in his hands - whether it is film or digital. His love for film photography comes from the physical medium it provides, and the focus needed to get the right shot.

Dillon has also worked on commercial productions for brands such as H-E-B, Raising Cane’s, Nike, Academy Sports + Outdoors, and Winstar Casino. With experience across narrative, commercial, and documentary work, he brings a grounded visual style and a focus on authentic, character-driven storytelling to every project.
